History
Waukesha Magnetic Bearings is an operating unit of Waukesha Bearings Corporation (WBC). WBC, with operations in North America, Europe and the Far East, is the largest supplier of bearings for turbomachinery in the world. WBC is one of the 50+ companies within Dover Corporation, a Fortune 500 company with 27,000 employees worldwide.
Waukesha Magnetic Bearings was formerly known as Federal-Mogul Magnetic Bearings and Glacier Magnetic Bearings.

Thus our proven line of Magnetic Bearings augments Waukesha's extensive line of fluid film bearings for large rotating machines such as turbines, pumps, motors, compressors, marine propulsion shafting, gearboxes, generators, and others. Many of these same machines can enjoy the benefits of the Waukesha Magnetic Bearing product line.
